Sharni Vinson, an Australian-American actor, dancer and actress born on July 22, 1983. She was born in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni was part of two episodes on the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her performance in the limited part was so captivating that the casting agent of the show requested her to be cast in the principal role in the series. However, she auditioned for the role, but she wasn't selected. Instead in the same series she played the character Cassie Turner who was an unruly teenager that was in foster care.
