Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired from her childhood in a New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw was a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years, she was named the top female box office participant in the entire world. In 1972, her footprints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was released. MacGraw has been married three times.
