Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is a famous American book author, who has been awarded Emmy Awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for 27 more seasons. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget papers. After initially finding the job interesting and stimulating however, she began to get bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. After selling the store, she spent 18 years building it into an extremely successful business. Many other cookbooks and magazine columns were later published. In the meantime the Food Network show was also successful. Additionally, she offers everything from cooking equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself that hasn't been to a cooking class, nor employed in the kitchen. She's known for her easygoing approach to cooking and entertaining. Some of her best known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
